Recruitment Process

  • Submit application - Please make sure you to answer the online screening questions. These questions are based on the key selection criteria for the position you're applying for.
  • Shortlisting - Our shortlists are based on your overall application which includes your cover letter, resume and how you match the requirements of the role. You will be contacted by our People and Culture team to arrange an interview.
  • Interviews - If you are shortlisted you will be invited to attend an interview, either in person or via Zoom with two or more panel members. You will have an opportunity to ask questions during the interview. In some instances, a second interview may be required.
  • Qualifications - You will be asked to provide certified copies of all relevant qualifications.
  • Referee checks - GOTAFE will contact your referees to substantiate your previous employment and/or experience.
  • Outcome - You will be contacted by email or phone to advise the outcome of your application. If you are successful an offer of employment will be made.
  • Onboarding - If you accept an offer of employment, we will arrange for you to be onboarded and inducted.
